This standard applies to protective decoration and industrial use of rhodium plating on surfaces to ensure the wear and corrosion resistance performance of sliding and frictional electrical contact materials. Rhodium Eletroplating solution is divided into two grades, DzRh_1 and DGRh_1, respectively, for decorative and industrial platings, with a rhodium content of 80g/L. Technical requirements include sulfuric acid solution free of insolubles, platings with a purity of 99.9% and a Hardness of 750-850kg/mm ², and decorative platings should be white and bright, industrial platings are completely bright and free of defects. Inspection methods include determination of rhodium content, microhardness testing, metallographic inspection and visual observation. The product shall be accepted by the technical supervision department of the supplier and a mass certificate shall be provided. The product should be sealed and stored, and the relevant marking information should be indicated.
