This standard specifies a method for testing the wicking performance of rubber or plastic coated fabrics. Applies to single-top coated or double-top coated rubber or plastic coated fabrics. The wicking performance is assessed by soaking one end of the sample in the dye solution and measuring the height or velocity of the liquid rising along the fiber reinforcement layer.
