This standard specifies a method for the determination of hydrogen sulfide in natural gas by methylene blue method. Absorbance of methylene blue solution is calculated by spectrophotometer measurement by reacting hydrogen sulfide in natural gas samples with methylene blue under acidic conditions. This method is suitable for the accurate determination of low-concentration hydrogen sulfide in natural gas. Measurement range from 0 mg/m3 to 23 mg/m3.
