This standard specifies a method for the determination of hydrogen sulfide in natural gas by iodometry. After reacting natural gas samples with excess zinc acetate solution to generate zinc sulfide, titrate the unreacted iodine with sodium sulfate standard solution to calculate the hydrogen sulfide content. This method is suitable for the accurate determination of hydrogen sulfide content in various types of natural gas. Measurement range is wide, ranging from 0% to 100%.
