GB/T 6822-1986 "General technical conditions for anti-fouling paint on the bottom of ships" is a general technical standard for anti-fouling paint systems designed for long-term submerged parts of the bottom of ships in seawater. The standard specifies the classification of short-term, medium-term and long-term anti-fouling paint systems and their technical requirements, including specific indicators such as composition, construction methods, drying time, viscosity and specific gravity. In addition, the standard also details the test methods, acceptance rules and requirements for Encasement, marking, storage and transportation of anti-fouling paint. The standard was repealed on April 1, 2008 and replaced by GB/T 6822-2008.
