This standard describes the thiocyanate Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry method for the determination of molybdenum content in tungsten concentrates. It is suitable for the determination of molybdenum content in tungsten concentrates in the range of 0.0050% to 4.50%. After the sample is melted with sodium peroxide and leached in water, the thiocyanate is used to form a complex, and the molybdenum content is calculated by spectrophotometer measurement.
