This standard describes the Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry method for the determination of phosphorus content in water treatment agents. It is suitable for the determination of phosphoric acid salt, total inorganic phosphorus, total phosphorus and total organic phosphorus content in water treatment compounds. It is effective for water treatment agents with phosphorus content less than 10%. It provides a reliable analytical method for water treatment agent quality control.
