This standard specifies the test method for determining the stiffness of the flexural part of footwear. It includes the bending moment test method and the bending stiffness test method, which are applicable to the whole shoe and the sole (except for the thickness of the flexural part greater than 25 mm). The bending moment test method is used to determine the resilience of footwear to deformation under force. The bending stiffness test method is expressed as the ratio of the peak force value to the peak deformation of the material. This standard is applicable to all kinds of footwear products. By quantitatively measuring its flexural performance during use, it provides technical support for the mass evaluation of footwear products.
