This standard specifies the material, classification, Color, Appearance, size and physical and mechanical properties of hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipes for low pressure irrigation, describes the relevant test methods in detail, and specifies inspection rules, marking, Encasement, transportation and storage requirements. PVC-U pipes suitable for low pressure irrigation systems with nominal pressure of 0.63 MPa and below must be produced, inspected and sold in accordance with the requirements of this standard.
