This standard specifies two analytical methods for the chemical resistance performance of fiberglass: Method A is the mass loss rate method, and Method B is the mass loss method per unit surface area. It is suitable for evaluating the tolerance performance of fiberglass in chemical media such as no alkali, medium alkali, alkali resistance, and high strength. It can also be used as a reference for the tolerance analysis of Miscellaneous fibers.
