This standard specifies the test method for evaluating the acid and alkali resistance of daily ceramic materials. It is suitable for glazed and unglazed daily ceramic products, but not for the determination of acid and alkali resistance of glazed surfaces. The reference documents applicable to this document include GB/T 6005-2008 Basic dimensions of wire woven mesh, perforated plate and electroformed sheet sieve. This standard evaluates the acid (alkali) resistance of the test material by placing the test material in sulfuric acid or sodiumhydrate solution for corrosion testing.
