GB/T 28799.1-2012 is the first part of the standard for heat-resistant polyethylene (PE) (PE-RT) piping systems for hot and cold water, that is, the general provisions. This part defines relevant terms, clarifies the scope of application of the standard, and describes the general requirements of the piping system, material characteristics and other basic content. It provides a framework and guidance for subsequent parts to specify product specifications, performance, connections, etc. It is an important basic standard to standardize the production, design, construction and application of PE-RT piping systems.
