This part of the standard specifies the terms, definitions and Measuring method for Tapped Density testing of granular materials. Applicable to powder materials with particle sizes in the range of 5 um to 5 mm. Tapped Density refers to the mass measured per unit volume of powder after vibration under specific conditions. It is determined by the fixed mass method or the fixed volume method to evaluate the compactability and flowability of the material.
