This standard describes a method for accelerating the moisture absorption of carbon fiber reinforced composites using high temperature and high voltage saturated water vapor conditions. Accelerating the rate of moisture diffusion by high temperature, high voltage increases the surface moisture absorption rate, so that the material quickly reaches a saturated state and achieves a supersaturated state when chilled down to room temperature. This method helps to quickly evaluate the moisture resistance performance of composites and shortens the test period. It is suitable for thermosetting carbon fiber reinforced composites with a glass transition temperature higher than 150 ° C.
