This standard specifies the test device, specimen, determination procedure, safety protection and test report for the measurement of the resistivity of the dust layer. It is suitable for general industrial dust, but not for explosive or flammable explosives. The resistivity is determined by measuring the resistance between the two electrodes of the dust layer and is evaluated according to the conductivity classification of the dust.
