GB/T 21867.3-2008 "Pigments and extenders - Methods of assessment of dispersion characteristics - Part 3:Assessment from the change in gloss"

This standard specifies a method for assessing the dispersion of pigments by measurement of specular gloss changes. It is suitable for the comparison of the dispersion of similar pigments, such as the comparison of test pigments and reference pigments. By measuring the Gloss of samples at different dispersion stages, plot the relationship between Gloss and dispersion time or number of Linear dispersion, and determine the degree of dispersion required to obtain the agreed Gloss value. This method needs to be used in conjunction with GB/T 21868.1-2008 and is suitable for the development and quality control of pigments.
