This document specifies the classification, nomenclature, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, Encasement, transportation and storage, etc. of polystyrene (PS) and Impact Resistant Polystyrene (PS-1) recycled plastics. Applicable to polystyrene recycled plastic particles made by screening, sorting, cleaning, melt extrusion granulation and other processes, not applicable to mixed Miscellaneous Resin materials or recycled plastics from hazardous wastes. A series of normative documents are cited as essential provisions, including standards for plastic performance determination, sampling methods, nomenclature system and classification basis.
