GB/T 21868.3-2008 "Pigments and extenders - Methods of dispersion for assessment of dispersion characteristics - Part 3: Dispersion using a high-speed impeller mill"

This standard specifies a method for the dispersion of pigments and extenders using a high-speed Stirrer, particularly for the dispersion of high-viscosity grinding materials. Due to the high shear force produced by this method, it is mainly used for the quality control of pigments. High-speed Stirrers can be used either for direct dispersion or for further dispersion after pre-dispersion in combination with Miscellaneous equipment. This standard is to be used in combination with GB/T 21867 and GB/T 21868.1, and emphasizes the principle that the results of this method are not comparable with those of the Miscellaneous dispersion method.
