This standard specifies standard test plates for testing Paints, varnishes and related products and their surface preparation requirements before painting. Test plates shall be strictly treated before painting, such as soaking in neutral light mineral oil or solvent storage, or solvent cleaning or sanding (sanding) to ensure that the surface of the test plate meets the required cleanliness and Smoothness. In addition, the standard also requires that in specific industrial application tests, the selection and treatment of test plates shall be fully negotiated with the user and recorded in the test report.
