Levelling Applicator

Coating levelling is a combination of gravity and surface tension shear force with a groove depth of 100-200-300-500-1000 μm.

The QLP Coating levelling Tester is generally used in conjunction with a Sag Tester to test the levelling (dispersion) and sag properties of coatings during construction and drying, and to perform comparative tests in order to achieve the required surface effect.

The measuring device has a groove depth of 0.1 to 4.0 mm and contains two sets of accurate scales. When used in conjunction with the sag tester, it can quickly analyze the levelling and sag behavior of coatings and significantly reduce the formulation adjustment time.

In line with ASTM 2801 standard, wet film thickness 250/500/1000/2000/4000 μm, wear and corrosion resistant alloy steel material.
