Stormer Viscometer
The Sheen Krebs Viscometer is designed to meet ASTM D562, ASTM D1131, and ASTM D856 test standards for measuring Krebs (KU) viscosity values in industries such as Coating inks. Coating viscosity is induced at a constant 200 rpm using a weight-driven swirl/spin propeller to ensure highly repeability results in fully automated test cycles.
Sheen Krebs viscometers are designed to meet ASTM D562, ASTM D1131, and ASTM D856 test standards for the determination of Krebs (KU) viscosity values in industries such as coatings and inks. The TQC Krebs Viscometer uses a weight-driven rotating paddle to sense the viscosity of the paint at a constant 200 rpm, ensuring highly repeatable results from fully automated test cycles.
The device provides automated motor operation and digital motor control, allowing for accurate direct readings in KU (Krebs units), mPa.s (cP), or g (grams). The conversion between these units is automatically calculated by the microprocessor and displayed according to the requirements. The rugged construction allows for use in a production environment or in the lab.
