Is there any easy way to reduce the blushing phenomenon of shellac paint?

Shellac paint is constructed under the situation of low temperature and relative humidity greater than 80%, and the paint film is easy to turn white, which affects the adhesion and surface gloss of the paint film. There are currently two ways to reduce shellac blushing:

(1) Add appropriate amount of butanol and urea to the first shellac paint. The ratio is: 10 parts of shellac, 30 parts of ethanol, 20 parts of butanol, and 2 parts of urea. First add shellac to ethanol to dissolve, then add urea, and keep stirring until all urea is dissolved. Butanol is added when used. As the volatilization speed of the solvent slows down, the temperature drop of the paint surface is slow, thereby reducing whitening. Adding a certain amount of urea can improve the luster and heat resistance of shellac.

(2) The first shellac adopts the rubbing method. Apply shellac with a lower concentration (containing 20% shellac) on the surface of the wood, and rub it along the direction of the wood grain. Wiping can increase the heat of the surface, and the moisture in the air is not easy to condense on the paint film. Then apply the second and third coats of shellac. The film-forming speed of the second and third shellac paint layers is slower than that of the first, and the phenomenon of whitening is less.
