Introduction of film defects caused by the adhesion of particles, dust, foreign matter, etc

Defects of the paint film with poor coating appearance caused by the adhesion of foreign matter, particles, dust, etc. It includes the following defects.

1. The phenomenon that the protrusions in the coating film are distributed in the form of particles on the entire or partial surface is called particles.

2. Pimples caused by foreign matter mixed into the paint or paint deterioration are called paint particles.

3. The protruding foreign matter caused by aluminum powder on the coating surface in metal flash paint is called metal particles.

4. The dust or foreign matter attached to the wet coating film during painting or just after painting is called dust.

5. Coating film defects with poor coating appearance caused by the adhesion of sealant, PVC car bottom coating (anti-sound coating), etc.

6. The adhesion of foreign matter such as iron powder, cement powder, sand dust, paint mist, etc., which makes the coating surface rough and dirty is called foreign matter blooming.

7. Poor coating surface caused by failure to clean up welding slag, solder and welding spatter before coating.

Etiology

1) The air cleanliness of the coating environment is poor. Unfiltered or improperly filtered air in spray booths, drying booths, or drying rooms.

2) The surface of the object to be coated is not clean, and the sealant, )*+ paint adhering to the surface to be coated before spraying has not been cleaned or wiped clean with viscous gauze.

3) Spray dust accumulates on the surface of the spray booth.

4) The dust in the gaps and grooves of the vehicle has not been blown off. There are welding slag splash spots on the surface of the white parts, which have not been cleaned after welding.

5) Compressed air is unfiltered or improperly filtered.

6) The lid of the paint can is not closed tightly, allowing dust to enter, and the paint thinner is used in a rusty or dirty container; it is not filtered before use.

7) The cement or other dust-generating floors in the painting workshop have not been sealed or wetted; dry sanding, grinding, polishing, etc. in the spraying area; use poor quality covering paper, such as newspaper.

8) Dust brought by operators. Dust, dirt and fibers on work clothes.

prevention

1) Establish a good dust prevention and cleaning management system. Regularly and effectively clean the painting workshop, painting equipment and air supply system to ensure a clean painting environment.

2) Seal the surface of the group that will raise dust.

3) At each stage of spraying, it is necessary to keep the coated surface of the workpiece effectively clean.

4) Strictly control the quality of paint and filter it before use.

50 Operators should wear work clothes and gloves that cannot shed fibers.

6) A filter should be installed on the paint supply pipeline.

remedy

1) In the case of light defects, after the paint film is completely dry, sand it wet with very fine sandpaper, and then polish it to reproduce the luster.

2) When the particles are deeply sunken, level and re-spray.
