In most cases, leveling is a desired property of a paint.
It is manifested in the flatness of the dry film surface as much as possible and as few surface brush marks, spray spots and other unevenness as possible.

The paint to be tested was applied to a flat substrate by leveling to produce 5 pairs of streaks for various film thicknesses.
Keep the test panel in a horizontal position and observe which of the stripes are close together,
Usually, when the two stripes are close together, there is still a gap in the middle, and the gap used in this position is the leveling position.
