BL121-10 directly installs the HI1036-18 acidity pH-redox ORP-temperature electrode directly on the pool [tank] or pipeline. To repair or replace the electrode, the pipeline or dosing pump needs to be turned off;
BL121-20 installs the HI1036-18 acidity pH-redox ORP-temperature electrode on a bypass flow cell; it is convenient for users to detect and replace electrodes without closing the pipeline or dosing pump;
The BL121's multi-function display allows three screen modes; the LCD can display all three parameters at once, a 3-second loop of individual parameters, or a live drawing screen with parameter selection, zoom and log recall options;
Multicolored LED Indicators, the BL121 provides multiple LED indicators for status, service and pump operation.
The STATUS LED changes color based on operating status; green when set within range, yellow when user intervention is required, and red for problems. SERVICE LED indicates any alarms and process errors encountered by the controller.
Programmable alarm system, HANA controllers allow the user to enable or disable alarms for all parameters. When the alarm is activated, all dosing will stop. The alarm system also provides overshoot protection if the value is not corrected within a specified time interval, then the meter will enter an alarm state.

Multifunctional LCD display
BL121's multi-function display allows three screen modes; the LCD can display all three parameters at once;
3-second loop for a single parameter, or live plot screen with parameter selection, zoom, and log recall options.
Colorful LED indicators
The BL121 provides multiple LED indicators for status, service and pump operation.
STATUS LED changes color according to operating status;
Sets are green when within range, yellow when user intervention is required, and red for issues. SERVICE LED indicates any alarms and process errors encountered by the controller.
Peristaltic dosing system
The BL121 is equipped with two replaceable chemically resistant peristaltic metering pumps. Replaceable chemically resistant pipes effectively prevent chlorine gas from damaging the pump and pipeline corrosion, ensuring that the pump can work effectively.
When using a Diaphragm Pump, chlorine gas formed by the exhaust gas will accumulate in the pump head, causing the pump to lose its quality. Peristaltic pumps using drums and pipes will not cause the accumulation of chlorine gas.
Proportional pump control
The BL121 is equipped with a proportionally controlled metering pump.
These controllers allow the user to adjust the proportional band based on the sensitivity of the process to chemical additions.
This setting determines the amount of time the pump meters as a percentage of deviation from the set point, allowing for very fine control in maintaining the desired set point.
Adjustable flow
The flow rate of the metering pump can be adjusted from 0.5 to 3.5L/h. A larger body of water requires more chemicals than a smaller body because it requires more chemicals to achieve a change in the reading.
Like proportional bands, adjustable flow rates allow greater control to maintain the desired set point.
ORP protocol function
With chlorine disinfection, there is an inverse relationship between pH and ORP.
As pH levels increase, ORP levels decrease.
The BL121 uses a dosing protocol feature that does not use chlorine until the pH is corrected for the first time because even if there is enough chlorine, it may have a lower ORP value.
The dosing protocol feature prevents wastage of chemicals and avoids higher than necessary chlorine concentrations.
Circulation pump monitoring
An inline flow switch or mechanical relay connected to the recirculation pump power supply can be connected to the BL121's hold input.
A hold circuit disables the metering pump when there is no flow or power to the recirculation pump.
This will prevent any chemical dosing when there is no water flowing in the system.
Programmable alarm system
The Hana controller allows the user to enable or disable low-level and high-level alarms for all parameters.
When the alarm is activated, all dosing will stop.
The alarm system also provides overshoot protection if the value is not corrected within a specified time interval, then the meter will enter an alarm state.
Automatic reading recording
Readings for each parameter are automatically recorded every 10 seconds.
The log is updated every time the instrument is calibrated or at the start of a new day.
Recorded data includes acidity pH, redox ORP and temperature values, last calibration data, setup configuration and all other data.
Each recorded data is saved in .csv format and data is transferred via USB port.
Analog output
The BL121 provides three 4-20 mA outputs for pH, redox ORP and temperature.
Each output can be set to disabled or connected to an external recording device, and can be adjusted to be proportional to the measured value.
For greater flexibility and better resolution, the analog output can be scaled; the user can customize any two points within the parameter range to correspond to the analog output range.
This adjustment allows for better measurement accuracy within user-specified ranges.
USB interface
For viewing and storage, users can easily transfer data to a computer using a flash drive and USB port.
password protection
The BL121 controller features a password protection solution that restricts access to recording, settings and viewing of recorded data. Users can enable/disable password settings.

The electrode consists of an acidity pH glass sensor, a redox ORP smooth surface platinum strip sensor and a circular surrounding temperature probe. The electrode can produce stable and fast equilibrium even in low conductivity water. It contains pH, ORP and temperature sensors and matching pins. , both digital connections and matching pins provide stable, reliable measurements, all readings are taken within the probe and data is transmitted to the controller via the digital electrode connections. The HI1036-18 digital electrode converts these measurements into digital signals to eliminate noise and static caused by the high-impedance signals carried by the cable;
Redox ORP and Acidity pH sensors and reference electrodes use differential measurement technology, which is known to provide accurate measurements when used under adverse conditions, which can cause conventional pH sensors to produce erroneous measurements.
Using differential techniques, ground loop currents will flow through a low-impedance path to the matching pin, providing immunity to the measurement signal.
