The drying time Recorder is a fully digitally controlled machine that is used to define the different stages of the paint and coating drying process. The drying time Recorder conforms to the BK (Beck Koller) method. With a clear digital display and an intuitive interface, it is very easy to define the final result or check the intermediate stages. The compact machine complies with ASTM D5895, ISO 9117-4 and DIN EN 14022.The drying time Recorder has six tracks and is equipped with two robust and reusable 100 x 350 x 3 mm glass beds. Six narrow glass beds with special adapters are available as an option.
The front panel of the dry time logger is made of clear glass, which is easy to clean and protects the display underneath it. The drying time logger is powered by a safe 24 V DC power supply.
The possibility of testing at temperatures as low as -20°C is unique. The drive system is lubricant-free, so there is no risk of lubricant thickening at lower temperatures. The display is heated to improve menu visibility at lower temperatures. These design features allow for an operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C (non-condensing), which allows testing in a climate chamber.
The wide and flexible time range can be set from 1 minute to 200 hours. This makes the drying time logger suitable for fast-drying water-based paints as well as very slow drying paints that can take days to dry. The time setting is very accurate, < 1% of the set time.
