The testo 176 T2 temperature data logger is particularly suitable for two-channel temperature monitoring and can be connected to two Pt100 temperature probes at the same time. As a result, the temperature values of two different measuring points can be monitored at the same time and, if required, the temperature difference between the two measuring points can be viewed directly on the Recorder's display.
The temperature data logger enables long-term temperature monitoring (without the need for frequent data readings), the testo 176 T2 is equipped with a large memory capacity, can store up to 2 million sets of data, and has a battery life of up to 8 years.
Technical features and practical functions
The data logger's display displays a large amount of important data, including the current measured value, the set limit value, the point of exceeding the limit value, the maximum/minimum value and the remaining battery level. Therefore, it can be read directly without being connected to a PC.
Data security is key:You don't have to worry about losing the data stored in your electronic Recorder. Data will not be lost even when the battery is exhausted or the battery is replaced.
The temperature data logger is ideally suited for use in the food industry: it is fully compliant with HACCP and EN 12830 (tested by TÜV Süd's ATP testing station). At the same time, the protection class of IP 65 is waterproof and dustproof, so it does not need to be removed or removed even when cleaning in the measuring environment.
Temperature data logger applications
Monitor and record storage facility temperatures
Monitor the temperature of the freezing area, such as a food freezer
Monitor and record the temperature of the refrigerated area or cold storage, such as the *product cold room
It is used as a standard instrument for calibrating other temperature loggers
Programming and data reading of the data logger
Testo's new generation of humidity and temperature loggers supports the following three software versions to meet the different needs of customers for instrument programming, data reading and analysis:
The ComSoft Basic software – free to download – provides quick and easy instrument programming and data reading
ComSoft Professional software – optional – provides more professional data analysis and management capabilities
ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 Industry Specialty Software – Optional – Ideal for Industries and Meets CFR 21 Part 11 Standards
You will need a USB cable to connect to a computer for programming the data logger, which is not included in the product packaging. You also need to use a USB cable or SD card to read the data. Both of these are optional accessories.
