This instrument is designed according to the principle of energy conversion. A triangular prismatic pyramid designed and produced according to standard geometry is installed on a pendulum of special shape. The energy consumed is the puncture strength of the sample.

1. After finishing the test, use a brush to sweep away the paper scraps between the two splints and remove the dust on the instrument.
2. The place where the instrument is placed should be dry and free from vibration, and it is not suitable to move it frequently.
3. When the instrument is not in use, place the swing arm on the positioning block and lock it with the locking block, then remove the weight and fastening screws.
4. Put the friction sleeve on the pyramid.
5. It is strictly forbidden to collide with the puncture head, and it is not allowed to do the puncture test of the metal sheet. Pay attention to whether the wear of the puncture head is damaged.
6. Check whether the fastening screws and cylindrical pins of the swing arm and pyramid are loose. If loose, tighten the screws and put the straight pin back in place.
