Introduction

The PN-SCTF short-range Compressive Strength Tester is a testing instrument for the short-range compression strength of paper and cardboard designed and developed in accordance with the national standard GB/T 2679.10. It is suitable for paper and cardboard used in the manufacture of cartons and cartons.

Short-distance compression refers to the compression force endured by the unit width when the paper and cardboard sample begins to fail, expressed in kN/m; short-distance compression index refers to the short-distance compression strength divided by the basis weight, expressed in Nm/g. The testing principle is as follows: a 15mm wide sample is clamped between two clamps 0.7mm apart and compressed until failure, the short-distance compression force is measured, and the short-distance compression strength is calculated. Short-distance compression is a new evaluation method for base paper strength in the world, gradually replacing ring compression strength RCT. The designed compressive strength of cartons is predicted by short-distance compression force.

This instrument adopts modern mechanical design concepts and ergonomic design principles, and is carefully and reasonably designed using a professional high-speed ARM processor. It has a novel design, easy use, excellent performance, and elegant appearance.

The instrument has various parameter testing, display, memory, printing and other functions included in the standard. It has data processing function, which can directly obtain the statistical results of various data, and can automatically reset and communicate with the host computer.
