The F100 Scott capacity meter is designed and produced in accordance with the national standards of the People's Republic of CHINA GB/T 1479.2-2011. This device is suitable for measuring the bulk density of powder using the Scott volumetric method.
Measure the mass of powder that completely fills a known measuring cup in its loose state. The powder is loosely packed by passing the powder through a series of sloping baffles in a Scott volumetric gauge that fills the cup. Bulk density is expressed as the ratio of mass to volume.
1. Funnel
It is assembled with two conical funnels, large and small, and a metal screen with a hole diameter of 1.18mm is placed in the middle.
2. Baffle box
The baffle box has a square section and contains four baffles. They are fixed on the sides of the box with the help of grooves and can be easily removed for cleaning. The purpose of installing baffles is to make the powder fall on each baffle in turn, thereby destroying the drop and thus slowing down the flow of powder. It is important that no powder can pass between the upper edge of the baffle and the box, so that the lower edge of the baffle should overlap slightly between strips when viewed from a vertical plane.
3. Bracket and vibration-free horizontal base
Used to support measuring cups, baffle boxes and funnels.
4. Balance (optional)
The balance must have sufficient range and weigh accurately to ±0.05 g.
5. Measuring cup
Stainless steel (304 material) measuring cup with a volume of 25mL ± 0.05mL and an inner diameter of 30mm ± 1mm.
