The TQC Sag and Levelling Film Applicator has two models: VF2246 and VF2247. The Sag and Levelling Film Applicator is used for a simple comparison of the leveling and sagging properties from the completion of paint application to the drying of the paint film. One side is used to test the leveling properties and can be coated with 5 types. Film thickness, the other side is tested for sagging, and 10 kinds of film thicknesses (75-300 microns) can be coated.
The Sag and Levelling Film Applicator is a special Film Applicator with dual functions. The single-sided test dent paint thickness range is 75-300 microns (every 10 microns is a unit). The addition of 5 grooves on the other side is to determine whether sagging will occur. The paint film thickness at . The combined stripes can be used to evaluate the measurement level.
The Sag and Levelling Film Applicator is made of stainless steel and will not be affected by acids and other chemical elements.

The so-called leveling property of paint refers to the flat and smooth state of the coating film after application. There should be no irregularities such as orange peel, brush marks, ripples, and shrinkage holes on the surface with good leveling properties. Usually, people use direct observation with the naked eye to compare the sample and the standard sample in parallel to judge the leveling properties of the coating. This method varies from person to person and is highly subjective.
The Sag and Levelling Film Applicator can be used to more accurately and effectively evaluate the leveling properties of coating films.
Generally speaking, leveling is a performance requirement for paint by quality personnel. It is manifested in that the surface of the dry film should be as smooth as possible, and that there should be as few surface brush marks, spray spots and other uneven phenomena as possible. Sagging is considered a paint defect and often occurs on the vertical surfaces, edges and corners of the workpiece.
