By bending the coated metal substrate at a set radius, the ductility and adhesion of the paint film under the bending stress can be obtained.
The bender is a simple and quick method to measure the elasticity of the coating, just bend the coated test plate on a cone of known diameter,
Then check the layer for cracking, peeling or other damage.
Made of anodized aluminum
Test panels up to 200mm wide and up to 1.5 mm thick can be measured
Stainless steel cone diameter: 3.2 mm-38 mm
Cover the paint film with soft paper to protect the paint film from cone friction
Insert the test plate between the cone and the fixed shaft, and lock the test plate
During the experiment, bend the test substrate to 180° evenly within 15 seconds
Take out the test panel, observe the damage of the paint film, and make corresponding marks according to the scale
Determine the conical bending resistance level of the paint film according to the corresponding standards
