The NF T30-038-2020 standard specifies a method for evaluating the adhesion of Paints and varnish coatings by a cross-cut test. This test cuts out a series of parallel lines on the surface of the coating and intersects them with another set of parallel lines to form a grid, which is then pasted and quickly torn off using adhesive tape to observe the coating disbonding. According to the degree of disbonding, the adhesion is divided into different grades.
