Standard JJG 1174-2021 specifies the calibrating procedures for Impact, Crash Test Benches. This standard applies to the first verification, subsequent verification and in-use inspection of Impact, Crash Test Benches (hereinafter referred to as "test benches") capable of generating semi-sine waves, Postpeak sawtooth waves and trapezoidal waveform types. Test benches are used to simulate the operation of products in Impact, Crash environments to evaluate their Reliability and durability. The standard covers the technical requirements and calibrating procedures for test benches, including requirements for loads for verification, use of mechanical Impact amplification devices, and measurement and Control systems for Impact parameters. The test bench is usually composed of a test bench body, a Control Unit, a waveform generator and an Impact parameter measurement system. It can generate a variety of Impact pulse waveforms through different working methods and excitation principles, such as half-sinusoidal, Postpeak sawtooth and trapezoidal. These characteristics ensure that the test bench can accurately simulate various Impact environments and provide necessary testing support for product design and evaluation.
