Part 1 of this standard specifies two methods for the determination of calcium oxidation and oxidation mg in limestone, dolomite and metallurgical lime. The Titrimetric method is used to determine the oxidation calcium content (mass fraction greater than 20%) and oxidation mg content (mass fraction greater than 2.5%), and the flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) method is used to determine the oxidation mg content (mass fraction 0.1% to 2.5%).
