This standard specifies the use of sodium ferrocyanide Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry for the determination of the content of metamethylhydrazine in surface water and aerospace industry wastewater. The measurement range is 0.01 to 1.0 mg/L, and the content of metamethylhydrazine in water samples can be determined after diluting. Under weak acidic conditions, metamethylhydrazine forms a red complex with sodium ferrocyanide, and its concentration is determined by spectrophotometer at 500 nm.
