GB/T 11900-1989 《Water quality--Determination of trace amounts of arsenic--Spectrophotometric method with silver salt》 Related products

This standard specifies a method for the determination of trace arsenic in surface water, groundwater and drinking water by potassium borohydride-silver nitrate (AgNO3) Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry. The minimum detection concentration of the method is 0.4 μg/L, and the upper limit of the determination is 12 μg/L. The arsenic in the sample is reduced to arsenic hydrogen by generating hydrogen under acidic conditions, and reacts with silver nitrate (AgNO3) to form yellow silver elemental matter. Absorbance measurement at 400nm. This method is suitable for the detection of trace arsenic in water quality monitoring.
