This standard applies to the determination of ammonium content in drinking water and wastewater, and the determination range is 0.2mg/L to 1000mg/L. Method The sample is heated for distillation, and the released ammonia is absorbed by Boricacid. The standard acid Titrimetric method is used for determination. Volatile amine compounds such as urea may interfere with the determination results, and appropriate treatment is required to eliminate the interference. This method is suitable for the analysis of ammonium concentration in drinking water and industrial wastewater.
