This standard applies to the determination of chromium content in titanium sponge, titanium and titanium alloys (containing vanadium). Two methods are provided: the ferrous sulfate ammonium Titrimetric method and the Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) method. The measurement range of method 1 is 0.30% to 15.00%, and the measurement range of method 2 is 0.010% to 15.00%. When the measurement ranges of the two methods overlap, method 1 is the arbitration method.
