This standard is applicable to the determination of aluminum content in manganese ores and manganese concentrates. The determination range is 0.10%~ 12.50% for mass fraction. Methods By analyzing the sample with muriatic acid, nitric acid, and then treating it with sulfuric acid-hydrofluoric acid, the aluminum content is finally measured by EDTA Titrimetric method. The titration process uses xylenol orange as an indicator and the aluminum content is determined by reaction with the zinc standard titration solution. The standard specifies in detail the reagents and material requirements used to ensure the accuracy and conformity of the determination results.
