GB/T 3884.8-2012 《Methods for chemical analysis of copper concentrates - Part 8: Determination of zinc content - Na2EDTA titration method》 Related products

This standard specifies the method for the determination of zinc content in copper concentrates, which is applicable to samples with zinc content in the range of 1.00% 13.00%. In the method, the sample is separated from interfering elements such as iron and manganese in an ammonia buffer solution containing oxidation agent after acid analysis, and the interference of copper, aluminum, etc. is removed with a concealing agent. The determination is carried out under the condition of pH 5.06.0. With xylenol orange as the indicator, titration is carried out with Na2EDTA standard titration solution to obtain the total amount of zinc and cadmium. The actual content of zinc is determined by deducting the amount of cadmium. The preparation and use requirements of the reagents are listed in detail in the standard to ensure the accuracy of the determination.
