GB/T 16484.1-2009 《Chemical analysis methods of rare earth chloride and light rare earth carbonate - Part 1: Determination of cerium oxide content - Ammonium ferrous sulfate titrimetry》 Related products

This standard specifies a method for the determination of the amount of oxidation cerium in rare earth chloride and light rare earth carbonic acid. It is suitable for samples with a cerium oxidation content in the range of 20.00% to 40.00%. Methods The sample is dissolved by muriatic acid, and the trivalent cerium is oxidized to tetravalent cerium using perchloric acid in phosphoric acid medium. Then in dilute sulfuric acid medium, the high-valent manganese is reduced using urea and reduced with sodium arsenite-sodium nitrite solution. The content of cerium oxidation is determined by titration using ferrous sulfate ammonium standard titration solution using benzoic acid as an indicator. The standard also includes detailed requirements for reagent preparation and use to ensure the accuracy and Reliability of the analysis.
