This standard specifies a method for the determination of the main content of stannous sulfate in stannous sulfate by potassium dichromate Titrimetric method, which is suitable for the determination of the content of stannous sulfate in stannous sulfate, and the determination range is > 95%. The principle of the method is that in an acidic medium, the reaction of divalent tin and ammonium ferric sulfate reduces trivalent iron to divalent iron, and then under the condition of mixed sulfur and phosphorus, using sodium dianiline sulfonate as an indicator, using potassium dichromate standard titration solution to titrate divalent iron, so as to calculate the content of stannous sulfate. The standard also includes safety tips and reagent requirements, emphasizing that necessary safety measures should be taken when using reagents with toxicity or corrosion.
