This standard specifies the method for the determination of silver content in gold and palladium alloys, which is applicable to alloys such as AuAgPt, AuAgCu, PdAgCu, etc. The determination range is 15% to 90%. Methods The sample is dissolved by mixing acid or nitric acid, the silver-silver iodide electrode and saturated Calomel electrode are used in ammonia medium, and the potassium iodide standard solution is used for Potentiometric titration, poten-tiometry to determine the silver content. The standard provides detailed reagent and material requirements and is consistent with YS/T 371 standard.
