GB/T 15072.3-2008 《Test method of precious metal alloys - Determination of platinum content for gold, platinum and palladium alloys - Electricity titration using potassium permanganate》 Related products

This standard specifies a method for the determination of platinum content in gold, platinum, and palladium alloys, which is applicable to alloys such as PtIr, PtW, and PdAgCuAuPtZn. The method is used to analyze samples by mixing muriatic acid and nitric acid. In dilute muriatic acid medium, platinum (IV) is reduced to platinum (II) using cuprous chloride, and then current titration is performed with potassiumhy permanganate standard solution. The potential is set to + 0.65V to determine the platinum content, and the measurement range is 5% to 95%.
