This standard provides two methods for the determination of antimony in Paints, including flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) and the rhodamine B Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry. Suitable for Coatings with "soluble" antimony content in the range of 0.05% to 5% (m/m). In cases of dispute, the AAS method is recommended as a referee method, while the rhodamine B spectrophotometry is an alternative method. The standard ensures the accuracy of the determination of antimony content to meet the mass standard of Coatings.
