GB/T 11909-1989 《Water quality--Determination of silver--Spectrophotometric method with 3,5-Br2-PADAP》 Related products

This standard specifies a method for the determination of silver content in water using the 3,5-Br2-PADAP Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry, which is suitable for wastewater from photosensitive material production, film printing, silver plating, smelting and other industries and surface water contaminated with silver. The method is to form a stable purplish-red complex of silver and 3,5-Br2-PADAP. Absorbance is determined at a wavelength of 570 nm, and the measurement range is 0.02 to 1.0 mg/L. The measurement range can be extended by appropriate sample condensation or dilution. This method is used for the analysis of silver content in water quality in environment monitoring.
