GB/T 4698.23-2017 "Methods for chemical analysis of sponge titanium, titanium and titanium alloys, Part 23: Determination of palladium content, stannous chloride-potassium iodide Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry and Inductance coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (AES) method" stipulates two methods for the determination of palladium content in titanium alloys, applicable range is 0.02% to 0.50%. The standard introduces the stannous chloride-potassium iodide Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry as an arbitration analytical method, and the use of ICP-AES method. Sample Handling and determination process are described in detail, which provides a reliable basis for the accurate determination of palladium content in titanium alloys.
