GB/T 4698.5-2017 "Methods for chemical analysis of titanium, titanium and titanium alloys in sponges, Part 5: Determination of molybdenum content, thiocyanate Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry and Inductance-coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (AES) method" provides methods for the determination of molybdenum content in titanium, titanium and titanium alloys, suitable for the determination of molybdenum content between 0.10% and 16.00%. The standard provides two methods: thiocyanate Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry and Inductance-coupled plasma emission Light spectrum method, in which the former is determined by forming an orange-red complex with copper as a catalyst, and the latter is an arbitration analysis method. The standard describes the reagent preparation and sample analysis process in detail and is suitable for mass detection and control of related materials.
