This standard specifies the terms, definitions, classification, basic parameters, requirements, test methods, marks and Encasements of Microscope objectives. It is applicable to Microscope objectives with a mechanical barrel length of 160 mm and an image distance of infinity. It is also applicable to microscope objectives, but does not contain the specific technical requirements of microscopy for objectives.
